What is noun? Types of noun

NOUN The name of place, thing and person is called noun. for pronoun Examples London, Car, Asad. In the above three examples, London is the name of the place. Car is the name of the thing. Asad is the name of the person. Types of Noun There are the following types of nouns which we will discuss in this article with explanations and examples. Proper noun. A proper noun is the name of any particular person place or thing.  Examples God The Holy Quran  Mohammed Ali Jinnah Lahore Common noun A common noun is a name given in common to every one place or thing of the same class or kind. Examples Man City  Book In these examples, there is any man, city and book you can consider. If the common noun begins with the capital letter then at the very beginning of the sentence line of poetry. Examples Cow gives milk Water water everywhere  And not a drop to drink Birds fly in the air. Collective Noun A collective noun is a group of persons or things, spoken of as one whole.   ADVERB A word that adds something to the meaning of any part of speech, except a noun or a pronoun. Examples Certainly, Unfortunately, Bravely, etc Use of adverbs in a sentence. 1.      Certainly, I shall help her. 2.      He faces hurdles in the game bravely. 3.      Unfortunately, the manager came late. Kinds of Adverb There are three kinds of adverbs which we will discuss in this article. 1.      Simple Adverbs 2.      Relative Adverbs 3.      Interrogative Adverbs Simple Adverb This kind of adverb qualify, the meaning of the word to which it is attached.   ADJECTIVE What is an Adjective? A word that qualifies or adds something (good or bad quality) to the meaning of a Noun or Pronoun. Example: - His pen is beautiful. Ali is a brave boy. In the above two examples, beautiful and brave are the adjective. Degrees of Adjective There are three degrees of adjectives 1.     Positive Degree 2.     Comparative Degree 3.     Superlative Degree Positive Degree A positive degree shows the simple quality of an object without a reference. Examples 1.     Honey is sweet. 2.     His car is beautiful In the above two examples, Honey and Car are the objects. Sweet and Beautiful are qualities of the objects.
