ADVERB
A word that
adds something to the meaning of any part of speech, except a noun or a pronoun.
Examples

Unfortunately, Bravely, etc

adverbs in a sentence.

shall help her.
2. He faces hurdles in the game bravely.
3. Unfortunately,
the manager came late.
Kinds of Adverb
There are
three kinds of adverbs which we will discuss in this article.
1. Simple Adverbs
2. Relative Adverbs
3. Interrogative
Adverbs
Simple Adverb
This kind of
adverb qualify, the meaning of the word to which it is attached.
Example

Asad came quickly.

Perform it well.
In the above
two examples quickly and well define or qualify the came and perform
respectively.
Relative Adverbs
This kind of
adverb not only qualify, any part of speech except noun and pronoun but also
connect sentences.
Example
·
I do not know where he works for the last ten years.
The main
adverbs of relative adverbs are; as, how, then, when, where, while, why,
whereas, and whereby.
Interrogative Adverbs
These kinds of adverbs are known by the name that they are used in the interrogation and
asking a question.
Examples

Where did he go?
·
When he will arrive?
·
How long have they been working on this platform?
·
Why she does not list her name?
Specific Adverbs
There are
some adverbs that are used for a specific purpose and indicate the specific
thing. These specific adverbs are as follow;
Adverbs of Time
Afterward,
Again, Already, Ago, Before are the adverbs of time.
Examples
1. He passes his
degree papers two years ago.
2. Before reaching the
finish line he falls down.
Adverb of Place
Above,
Around, Aside, Backward, Everywhere these are the adverb of place.
Examples
1. In 2020 corona
pandemic was spared everywhere.
2. Stool is placed above the table.
Adverb of Quality or Degree
Almost,
Also, Enough, Little, Much, very, too are the adverbs of degree.
Examples
1. He is a very
hard-working employee of this company.
2. She knows a
little bit about the history of the United Kingdom.
3. He reaches the
party almost the given time on the invitation.
Adverbs of Numbers
Again,
Always, Firstly, Never, Once, Often, Twice are the adverbs of the numbers.
Examples
1. She always
prefers to help needy people.
2. He never lies to
his parents.
3. He goes for
studies in the study room twice a day.
Adverb of Manner or Quality
or State
So,
certainly, badly, Well, Slowly are the adverbs of manner.
Examples
1. He was badly
injured in a car accident.
2. He performs well
in the final year exam.
3. He moves slowly
but he never stops before the finish line.
Adverb of Cause
Why, How,
What are the adverbs of cause.
Examples
1. How do they win the
match of cricket in a difficult situation?
2. What is the
issue you are solving?
Adverb of Effect
Hence,
therefore, likewise are adverbs of effect.
Adverb of
Belief or Disbelief
Yes, No,
Surly, Not, Perhaps are the adverbs of belief and disbelief.
Examples
1. Yes he will help
them in the research project.
2. No, he never
lies for injustice.
3. Surely, she will
be present at the hotel.
Adverb of Comparison
So, as, then
are the adverb of the comparison. These adverbs are used for the compression
between the two things which have one or more similar qualities.
Examples
1. First he writes
the application, then he forwards it to the principal.
2. Mango is sweet
as honey is sweet.
